One of the most iconic cars ever built is the 356 Speedster. This 1957 356A Speedster 1600 Super is one of the last T1 Speedsters produced and is one of only 650 cars equipped with the Super engine (across all models from 1954 to 1959). The ownership and service history, along with the complete Concours restoration, have been meticulously documented. The final sale includes numerous photos and receipts, demonstrating that no expense was spared to make this Speedster truly one of the best examples on the market.

Over a span of six years, this Speedster was restored to a Concours level, while also enhancing its driveability. The original matching-number engine was upgraded with a larger crank, improved rods, a new camshaft, upgraded pistons and cylinders, and a complete transmission rebuild. Additionally, the most desirable option of the era was added during the restoration: five Rudge wheels sourced with the original 1957 date code!
